“Coastal Living Magazine” party

A few months ago I got an email from Tiffany at William Means Real Estate, asking me if I’d like to document a party the company was hosting for Coastal Living Magazine. I of course said yes! As a photographer, I always welcome anything and everything different to do.
The party was centered around featuring a beautiful new home in the neighborhood of ION in Mount Pleasant, as their “idea cottage” for the issue (102 latitude lane). Duvall catered the food and there was steel drum music by a guy named Dr. Chris Lee. The amazing bottlecap artwork was done by Molly B. Right. There was a huge turnout amidst the downpour. I had a great time and got to take a few shots of the inside and outside of the home before people showed up, and the rainstorm came!

  • Dina @ White Thread - OK seriously, how can I find out where that amazing piece of bottle cap (?) art is from. I need that.

  • Tiffany - Molly B. Right, she’s a local Charleston artist. It’s unbelievable to see up close!

  • Hal Hunnicutt - Indeed it was amazing. Thousands of flattened bottle caps gave the portrait a fascinating dimension. (That’s me in the photo admiring!)

  • Escape Artist - Love the bottle cap “painting”, I’m inspired!
