When Lindy booked her bridal portraits with me, we decided on the Legare Waring House as the location to shoot. If you’ve followed my blog at all, you will know just how much I love this place! It’s a magical location with the option of photos inside or out. The house is so pretty and the trees and surrounding property are amazing.
Well, this day it decided to POUR rain. Yup. RAIN. My arch enemy when it comes to bridal portraits! I had my heart set on doing some near my favorite trees. I will be completely honest though, when I got home and started going through the session I was in love. Lindy is not as serious as you might expect by looking at these (she is so funny!), but we were able to pull off a set of images that reflect her beauty that give me a feeling of serenity. It reminded me of just how much I am drawn to classic, thoughtful, and nostalgic photos of a bride that will never look “dated.” I thought about how her children and grandkids would see these one day, and that pretty much did it for me.
I am so thankful for this day with Lindy, not only because she is an awesome person but because I feel like a little part of her family history. Thank you Lindy for being so much fun and the beautiful person you are!
