I can’t even tell you how excited I am to finally buy my copy of this book! I met “Liz” in the beginning of my photography career, in her amazing store “At Home Vintage General,” in Savannah, GA. As soon as I stepped foot in her store, my husband said,”UM, I guess I’ll be back to get you in an hour or two.” ha! (He knows me well).
I was in awe and felt like a kid in a candy store. Liz had the most amazing little things she had collected over the years, and they were everywhere. I couldn’t get enough. She kindly let me take a few photos of her store, and I gave her a business card.
A few years passed and Liz had started a new venture (along side of the many many things she does!), wedding planning and styling. I knew it was a perfect fit for her….her style, ability to see things differently and mix old and new in a way I’d never seen anyone do. She uses many things from her store to decorate and make a space come alive.
SO, when I found out she was having a book published, I couldn’t wait to see it! I was hoping the weddings we had done together would be included, but I wasn’t sure—I was over the moon to see them in print. You will probably recognize some of the photos if you’ve been following my blog for the past few years. 🙂
