I bought a camera to take better hair photos.


God had other plans...

I'm Juliet — a portrait photographer based in the South Carolina Lowcountry, though I didn't exactly arrive here the typical Southern way! I was born in Texas, grew up in North Carolina surrounded by people from all over the world, - I  had never used the word "y'all"  until my cousins from SC corrected me when I called them "you guys."  😂


Creativity has been my native language since before I could fully speak. I was singing before I could form sentences, loved to dance, paint, sketch, write poems, sewing for my dolls, and rearranging/decorating every room I ever lived in. I was the girl who wanted to be an actress at five and a hairstylist at 20 — and somehow ended up behind a camera, which wasn't the plan at all.

Photography took on a life of its own — and so did the why behind it. I've experienced and walked through some really hard things in my life. Seasons I never thought I'd get through.  God brought me through every single one, and somewhere in that process I discovered what I was actually here to do: help people see themselves the way He sees them. To know they are truly loved and special.


I believe every single person is handpicked by God, created with purpose and beauty. When I photograph someone, my heart is to reflect that back to them. So when they see their images, they don't just love how they look. They see who they are.
